PiCCA’s giving circle members recently voted to support the Haku Women’s Collective (shown here pointing to the palm tree that denotes they own their land). With PiCCA’s funding and in-kind support, HWC will build an amenities centre including a bathroom, toilet, kitchen and large meeting space. This is much needed – there are currently no ablution facilities for the many users of HWC’s programs, and insufficient meeting space. The kitchen will be used to set up a catering social enterprise.
