PiCCA’s project in Nepal is going well. These photos were taken by PiCCA members Rod & Deb during their recent visit to remote Tawal, where PiCCA and NAFA (Rod is its President) are supporting the Hilly Region Development Club to rebuild several schools that were devastated by the 2015 earthquake. NAFA is funding an engineer to oversee the work (Sadit, standing to the left of 3 builders in the photo). The work is painstaking without machinery – women are making aggregate for concrete, by hand.
