Huong Tra’s students will return from school holidays to new hygienic wash stations. There has been rapid progress in our partnership project with Hearts for Hue and the new wash stations have already been constructed in all the 10 schools involved in the project.
With the start of the new school term, the focus of the project will now shift to the training component. Training in all matters sanitation and hygiene will be rolled out soon to the teachers and subsequently adopted into school teaching and student peer training to eventually reach the more than 3,300 students in the schools. With the agreement of the Education Department to maintain the program for at least five years into the future, this is a great outcome for the children of Huong Tra.
