PiCCA members have approved a new project providing for the fit-out of a childcare facility and community centre run by the Butterfly Foundation in Pokhara (Nepal) for the provision of services to vulnerable children and their families.

The project is being delivered together with the Nepal Australia Friendship Association with whom PiCCA worked in the rebuilding of the school Tawal, destroyed in the 2015 earthquake. An additional component of this project includes the development of a child protection framework to be used as an instrument of staff training and as a model for other childcare.
