Our partners Hearts for Hue have rolled out the first stages of the PiCCA funded goat raising project in Quang Nham, Central Vietnam.
The project is aimed at supporting 50 families who have a family member with a disability to engage in goat raising. The idea is to develop meaningful work, independent income sources and community connection for the families who live in the isolated and impoverished village of Quang Nham.
The first stage of the project, establishing a goat raising community group, and providing training for the families in goat raising, building goat shelters, and caring for baby goats has just been completed.
