Work has begun on the new Community Care Centre in Buka Island, Bougainville (PNG) for the Hako Women’s Collective! Work is being done by locals, with the assistance of some builders from the C3 Church in Sydney. The project has been funded by PiCCA, C3 and local contributions. It will be fantastic for the Collective to have this facility to provide so many of their wonderful programs for women, families, young people, and particularly some ablution facilities for women escaping domestic violence.
